Patrol and Patrol Response

The Windsor Police Service is committed to providing 24-hour uniformed effective police service to the citizens and visitors of the City of Windsor the Town of Amherstburg. The core functions include Crime Prevention, Law Enforcement, Sergeants mentoring program, Patrol Deployment, Downtown Directed Patrol, Problem Oriented Policing, and COAST (Crisis Outreach and Support Team).

The Patrol Response is devoted to protecting the life and property of our citizens, to gain knowledge of the areas patrolled and the people therein, and to promote and maintain good community relations. The initiatives that are created and monitored ensure the continuous commitment to providing exemplary service and making Windsor and Amherstburg one of the safest communities in Canada.
