Two charged in connection with 3D-printed firearm investigation
The Windsor Police Service has arrested two men following an investigation into the manufacturing of a 3D-printed firearm.
Shortly after 8:00 p.m. on January 21, 2026, officers attended a hotel in the 2100 block of Huron Church Road to conduct a wellness check on a woman. During the investigation, officers located a 3D-printed firearm, a 3D printer actively producing a firearm, and various accessories believed to be used in the manufacturing of firearms.
Members of the Drugs and Guns (DIGS) Unit subsequently executed a search warrant on the hotel room. As a result, officers seized multiple 3D-printed weapons, a 3D printer, a laptop, and a cellphone.
Wesley Allen Scali, 43, and Kyle James St. Denis, 34, were arrested and charged with the following offences:
· Knowingly manufacture a firearm
· Possession of a firearm without holding a licence
· Possession of computer data for a firearm
Scali was also arrested on outstanding, unrelated warrants for two counts of robbery.
