• Do not file online reports for crimes-in-progress. Call 9-1-1 in case of emergency.

Windsor Police Service reviews all reports submitted online. If further investigation is needed, police may contact you about your report.
How to File an Online Report

How to Update an Existing Report
If you have already filed a report and wish to provide additional information (such as photos), you may do so online.

Can I file a report in another language?
Yes. Translation services are available through our non-emergency line (519-258-6111).
Can I file a report on behalf of a third party?
Reports must be filed by the actual complainant, property owner, or an authorized representative of the victim. Reports filed on behalf of a third party without authorization (e.g. for an unknown person, for public property) are not accepted.
Can I file an online report and remain anonymous?
No. If you wish to remain anonymous, contact Crime Stoppers at 519-258-TIPS.
What if the incident occurred in another municipality?
If the crime took place outside Windsor or Amherstburg, please contact the police service for that municipality.
What is a known suspect?
A known suspect is someone whom you can identify as the suspect responsible for a crime. (This can also include specific identifying information such as a licence plate number.)
