The Windsor Police Service accepts online reports of specific traffic incidents and ongoing traffic issues.
Report a Specific Incident
Road Watch complaints allow community members to report specific incidents of unsafe driving (including speeding, unsafe lane changes, and red light violations).
You should file a Road Watch complaint if:
- You can identify the suspect’s licence plate.
- You can identify a specific offence committed by the driver.
You should not file a Road Watch complaint if:
- You see impaired driving, street racing, or another immediate danger to public safety. This is an emergency, and you should call 9-1-1 immediately.
- The traffic incident resulted in a motor vehicle collision.
- You wish to pursue charges against another driver.
Report an Ongoing Issue
Users can report ongoing traffic issues in specific areas (e.g., frequent violations at a four-way stop).
These reports help officers identify problem areas and respond accordingly.
